Scarab Red Garnet 14k Yellow Gold & Sterling Silver Ring
This ring is a 100% handmade creation. It is built around gorgeous natural, hand carved scarab red garnet. Inspired by my love for acient Egyptian jewelry, this is my modern vision for your everyday lucky charm scarab amulet ring.
The Scarab ring was popular in the Egyptian Middle Kingdom and later as a signet/amulet with the scarab representing the god Ra. The scarab bug symbolized the restoration of life but also a symbol of immortality, resurrection, transformation and protection. The scarab was a popular design for good luck charms, for seals used to stamp documents, and for jewelry.
The sterling silver ring and 14k yellow gold bezel with two side small gold balls are both shined to an extremely high polish. The round sterling silver band is covered with black rhodium to pop out the contrast of the stone and gold bezel.
The main stone is about 10x14mm, 7.80Ct, natural, red, hand-carved garnet.
The ring dimensions is about 17x20 mm (0,66x0,78inch).
The pictures have been enlarged to show the details and taken in the day light.
The round band is about 3mm wide and 3mm thick, super comfortable to wear.
